Gisburn Forest MTB
I had a trip to Gisburn Forest (nr. Clitheroe in Lancashire – map) today. The place has recently had a lot of work and a cash injection of £180k for new trail building.
Sadly the new trails are not officially open yet so I did a run around the old red route and had a peek at the new stuff. I can’t really recommend the old trail for anyone beyond beginners. It only has one good bit (lasting about 3 mins!) Although there’s plenty more hidden in the woods 😉 – which I’m not privy to!
